It will give the marketing team boost to say "Firefox has better engine than chrome", third decouple the firefox from xul and make it like Chromium, simple, powerful, and usable to fork. They need to be versatile, in order to survive.īrave has a upper hand, it use chromium (lever the chromium canvas), and it has better interaction between the dev and the community, even multi billion dollar company like M$ give up right, because Google is too damn powerful, and most 90% of web user, use google service (Even I myself have hard time to really sever my work from google workspace).įirefox need to have upper hand, first, have a better marketing, 2nd improve spider monkey to level that Chrome can't. ![]() as they need to grow right? They can't just be like this forever. I still grateful that Firefox still survive, but they need to make their competition works both ways. I don't say it in term of web freedom, but the point of how we spend money. The only baggage in the equation that make firefox need more investment is the money they spent on the engine. I mean you see, Brave always do shaddy thing to survive, well, it's a competition, and firefox seems really never fight as equal to begin with. They can, if firefox team try to do real marketing. ![]()
